Our Partners

We believe in the power of local partnerships for sustainable and effective community development. Vida Outreach provides funding to and works alongside the following local organizations:

Templo Cristiano Elim de Mexico

Templo Elim was the first protestant Christian church in La Mision, planted by Pastor Ireneo Pacheco in 1977 and has since sparked a growing Christian presence in the rural valley. Pastor Gustavo Pacheco, Ireneo’s son, has been lead pastor for the last 20 years and continues to serve the congregation faithfully as well as provide the leadership and guidance of the church’s large focus on missions and evangelism. Over the last 13 years Pastor Gustavo has lead mission trips every May and November to the state of Sinaloa, Mexico to reach unchurched, rural towns and has lead Templo Elim’s congregation to plant 4 new churches. Templo Elim and Pastor Gustavo have also helped other pastors in Baja California start churches. Templo Elim’s congregation works actively in the community and has dorm facilities to host missionary groups that want to come serve the area.

Due to the poverty stricken community this church serves, Templo Elim needs your support.

Iglesia Familia de Dios

Iglesia Familia de Dios (Baja Family Outreach) was founded in April 2005 and is bfolocated in the retired city dump of Tijuana. The church originally started as a free breakfast ministry providing a much needed nutritious meal to the children living in the dump and soon grew into a church plant. Pastor Ireneo (Iri) Pacheco became the pastor of the new church and leader of the breakfast ministry in 2007. Pastor Iri and his wife Tabitha have seen the church grow over the years and have started several other ministries including a thriving youth, women’s, men’s, couple’s and children’s ministry.

The breakfast ministry continues to be the church’s largest outreach, serving breakfast Monday-Friday to over 200 men, women, and children. The breakfast ministry has provided a great way to reach families for Christ and demonstrate the love and care of Jesus. These families live in severe poverty, living in makeshift houses of plywood, tarps, and tires and often going without a nutritious meal and clean water to drink.  The breakfast ministry provides a much needed meal in a safe environment for the children each morning before they go to school. The ministry teaches the children the love of Christ and provides needs that keep them out of orphanages and works toward building healthy families.

This ministry is currently in need of financial support. It takes approximately $100 dlls a day to purchase food alone. Please consider supporting this amazing program by donating today.
